Thanksgiving Day Feast

Hey campers, it’s getting close to that time again… You remember, time for our annual Thanksgiving Day turkey-fry and get together. Make your plans now to join us November 23rd from 11:00 am till we run out or everyone’s full - for a Thanksgiving Day feast at the Longbranch Shelter here at Oak Plantation Campground. You’ll see some of the folks you met last year and meet and make new friends as well. Bring a favorite dish, ( we’ve always enjoyed trying out those secret family recipes) or just come with your family and enjoy the fixin’s provided. OPC will furnish the fried turkey ( if you’ve never tried it you’re in for a treat! ) and the dressing, our regulars and some of you new-comers can bring a special vegetable dish, a potato or rice dish, or a dessert, but go easy on those desserts – we’re nearly all watching those calories… Don't forget to also bring the refreshments, iced tea, lemonade, soft drinks, etc. Spend the day, the week, or the month with us, we’re always glad you’re visiting, but Thanksgiving gives us a chance to all get together for a fantastic holiday meal and to get caught up on all the news.
